Companions Range

2008 Companions Range, Chardonnay Viognier An attractive lemon-yellow colour in the glass, with hints of green indicating the youthful nature of the wine. The nose is vibrant and zesty, with apricot notes from the Viognier combining with the white peach and melon aromas of the Chardonnay. The palate is supple and fruit driven, whilst retaining a vibrant, crisp acidity. An excellent drink-now style, with potential for short term bottle maturation.

2007 Companions Range, Cabernet Merlot Deep red, purple in colour with lifted aromas showing strong vatietal typicity, coupled with complex secondary notes gained from extended barrel maturation. Rich and soft in the mouth, with intense blackcurrant Cabernet flavour supported by a plummy richness from the Merlot. Fine-grained tannins leave a soft, velvety impression on the finish which features lingering cassis and cocoa bean flavours. The wine will continue to soften and develop further complexity over the next 4-5 years if properly cellared.

2008 Single Vineyard, Serendipity Chardonnay Brut From the Adelaide Hills this wine has aromas of green apple, lime and lemon. The palate is rich in lemon, toasty bread crumbs, balanced acid and a creamy mid palate that enhances the mousse and makes it a pleasure to drink.

2009 Single Vineyard, Slate Creek Riesling The nose exhibits classic spicy lemon and lime zest aromas with perfumed scents of citrus blossom. The palate will reward those with a penchant for an elegant and refined Riesling.

2009 Single Vineyard, Serendipity Pinot Grigio Pale straw-yellow in colour with lovely aromas and flavours of jasmine, juicy pear and a hint of spice. The middle palate is creamy which adds a third dimension to the wine, yet is balanced with a crisp acid finish.

2010 Single Vineyard, Barton Springs Sauvignon Blanc Pale straw-yellow in colour with archetypal Sauvignon Blanc aromatics on the nose of cut grass, citrus fruits and tropical fruit scents. There is an abundance of sweet fruit on the palate with pineapple, passionfruit and honeydew melon balanced with herbaeous undertones. The concentrated mid-palate richness leads to a dry finish of considerable length and persistence, with the fruit intensified by a racy acidity.

2008 Single Vineyard, Serendipity Chardonnay This wine shows pale straw yellow and hints of green. The nose is rich with juicy peach and nectarine aromas and the palate has a delightfully rich and creamy finish balanced by an elegant acidty.

2008 Single Vineyard, Tullymore Cabernet Sauvignon - SOLD OUT Vibrant deep purples and reds in the glass, this wine shows the classic Clare Cabernet characters of blackcurrant, plum, cassis and crushed violets on the nose with enticing cedary notes. The palate features black ripe berries, mulberries and plum fruit with well-integrated oak framed by elegant tannins. The length and depth of this wine is intense and seductive.
Although drinking well now, this is a wine that will benefit from cellaring for up to ten years.

2008 Single Vineyard, Tullymore Shiraz - SOLD OUT Deep purples in the glass lead to a nose reminiscent of black and blue berry fruit, mocha and vanilin oak. The seductive palate is rich and intense with plum, black cassis fruit with hints of chocolate, liquorice and earthy exotic spices. Cedary oak is evident but well integrated and the finish is smooth and persistent. Although drinking well now, this is a wine that will benefit from cellaring for up to ten years. SOLD OUT

2009 Regional Range, Clare Valley "Celestial" Riesling This wine was crafted from Riesling grapes selectively harvested from the Watervale vineyards in the Clare Valley, to make this luscious and heavenly desert wine. With aromas of lemon zest and florals, this wine exhibits flavours of grapefruit, limes and citrus flowers, which is balanced by the natural sugar and acid combination.
