Kirrihill Wines is located in the gently rolling hills of South Australia’s famous Clare Valley wine region 130kms north of Adelaide. We source grapes for our two ranges, the Single Vineyard Series and Companions, from some of the best growers in two of Australia’s finest cool climate regions, the Clare Valley and the Adelaide Hills.

The vineyards range between 350 and 550 metres above sea level enabling our growers to produce high quality grapes. A higher altitude means a cooler climate with large variations in day and night-time temperatures and more intense sunlight. This in turn leads to a prolonged growing season concentrating the grapes’ colour and flavours.

We have won more than 500 awards since our inaugural release and we have been awarded 5 stars by James Halliday for the second year running in the 2008 edition of his Australian Wine Companion. “An outstanding winery capable of producing wines of very high quality, and did so this year.” This puts Kirrihill in the top 14.9% of the 2,500 or so wineries in Australia.
