We are fortunate to work with a dedicated team of growers who provide us with a diverse selection of high quality grapes required for our premium wines. In addition to technical innovations in the vineyard, such as vertical shoot positioning for example, our growers practice sustainable landscape management. This means they: - Maintain areas for native flora and fauna with a minimum of 30% per property set aside
- Replace exotic and pest species with native grasses and plants
- Manage creek and dam water efficiently by lining dams and using state-of-the-art dripper irrigation to each vine
- Plant cover crops between vine rows and spread straw to reduce water evaporation
- Only use organic fertiliser and reuse organic vineyard waste
- Use no pesticides
- Strive to reduce herbicide use
- Establish wetlands
- Plant trees to offset carbon emissions
We are firm believers that healthier soils produce healthier grapes making better wines – it’s that simple! Read about our growers in the Clare Valley Read about our growers in the Adelaide Hills
